Who are we?

PASS Tutors is a Wandsworth-based tutoring service providing the finest results-oriented tuition for children aged 4-18. Through group workshops and individual tutoring, our hand-picked tutors will deliver a bespoke programme for your child to help unlock their full academic potential. Whether your child lacks confidence, needs support to get back on track, or is working towards scholarship and selective entry, PASS Tutors has the experience, knowledge, and commitment to support your every objective, every step of the way.

PASS Tutors was founded by Charlotte and Anita, two Wandsworth Mums with over 20 years of teaching and tutoring experience between them. Our goal is to support children and parents through all aspects of the selective school process, equipping children with the tools for academic success, as well as instilling confidence and inspiring a joy for learning.

The PASS Tutors team includes specialists across all subjects for ages 4 - 18. Our team has experience working with children of all abilities, from high achievers needing to be stretched, to those who may have fallen behind and need extra support.

Charlotte

Charlotte, an award winning teacher, has over 12 years of teaching and child-development experience. Having graduated from Warwick University with a BA (QTS), Charlotte began her teaching career in the state sector in Warwickshire. This culminated in her winning the regional Teacher of the Year Award for excellence in teaching and pastoral care. 

In 2006 Charlotte moved to London, joining a leading independent school in Dulwich. Here she has gained successive promotions rising to become Head of Department. She has gained experience in teaching Key Stage 1 and 2, covering all subjects across the curriculum. She has worked closely with both children and parents throughout her teaching career, building good relationships with both. 

Throughout her career Charlotte has also tutored many children, whether it be to help give children more confidence, help them understand certain areas of the curriculum or for entrance exams, she has thoroughly enjoyed seeing the children develop over time. She currently lives in Wandsworth with her husband and daughter.

Anita

Anita is a motivated, high energy tutor with a strong academic record. She possesses strong people skills and takes pride in building a good teacher student rapport. She has always had a strong focus on the core maths and analytical based subjects, not only at school and university, but commercially too having worked in real estate investment for eight years in both London and Hong Kong.

Prior to this, she worked part time in a Saturday School in London, tutoring students from the age of two to thirteen in Maths and English, specifically for entrance exams for private schools. During her time in Hong Kong she tutored for three years with a focus on 7+, 11+ and 13+ UK based entrance exams for schools such as Benedon, Highgate, Harrow and Oundle School. Furthermore, for four years, she lectured annually at the London School of Economics on the methodology and application of real estate investment modelling.  

Anita helps students understand their work better and expand their knowledge in the subject, focusing on the specific areas that students are finding difficult. She achieves this through meticulous planning of classes, tailor made for students according to their level and needs, with an aim to raising their achievements and building their confidence in the subject.
